• Precautions. Caution is required in these circumstances and may require modification of the use of the device. When appropriate or if you have any questions, consult a medical professional under any of the following circumstances: Recent injury or surgery, pregnancy, diabetes , or osteoporosis, hypertension (controlled), abnormal sensations (e.g., numbness), bony protuberances or areas, sensitivity to heat, vibration, or pressure, or mild peripheral neuropathy. Do not wear this device at night while sleeping.

• Contraindications. It is advisable to consult a medical professional before using the device: Rash, open wounds, blisters, local tissue inflammation, infection, bruising or tumor, skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, bone fracture or myositis ossificans, osteomyelitis, severe scoliosis or spinal deformity, hypertension (uncontrolled), vascular/arterial and circulatory diseases including blood clots, phlebitis, thrombosis (DVT) and varicose veins, history of embolism, acute or severe heart, liver or kidney disease, severe peripheral neuropathy or other cause of sensory disturbance, bleeding disorders, connective tissue disorders, direct pressure on a surgical site, direct application to the face, head, throat, neck or genitals, pacemaker or ICD. Do not use in the presence of unexplained pain.
