We were born because we realized that companies were the only ones who had access to high-quality ergonomic office furniture. Determined to change this reality, we are dedicated to providing accessible ergonomic solutions for everyone, thus transforming the way people feel and experience their work environment.

Our History

To understand the existence of Ergonomika , we have to go back to the origins of Kadira, a store located in the centre of Manresa that began its journey selling a wide range of office furniture.

1991

1991

In 1991, Kadira merged with Zárate Interiors, a home furnishings store, and together we moved to a 1000m2 warehouse in Sant Fruitós del Bagés, where we expanded our entire range of furniture and decorative projects and became a benchmark in the home furniture sector in Catalonia .

But, we could not ignore that over the years, office furniture was experiencing a growing demand, which inspired us to found Ergonomika , focusing on ergonomic office chairs.

Thus, in 2014, we decided to establish ourselves in Barcelona, ​​where we founded Ergonomika (Carrer Paris, 43) and opened an experiential store in the heart of the city with the clear intention of bringing professional office furniture not only to companies, but also to the private sector, because our commitment is to provide well-being to people in their work environment.

Ergonomics, quality and design are our fundamental pillars.

Our showroom was designed to offer a guided shopping experience, adapted to the needs and sensations of each client.

The increase in teleworking (due to the pandemic) meant an evolution for us. The need to work sitting down for long hours at home in spaces that until now were not prepared for it, increased people's awareness of the importance of having an adequate work environment .

However, we had a problem: the physical stores were closed, so, to continue taking care of our customers, we decided to open our e-commerce.

In light of our ongoing desire to bring well-being into the workplace, in 2021 we consolidated Ergonomika Empresas with a mission: to help companies improve the well-being and productivity of their employees.

In addition to selling ergonomic furniture and chairs, we also work hard to develop talks, training sessions and wellness corners in companies. This way, companies and their employees can get the most out of their offices.

At Ergonomika , we don't just have ergonomic chairs and office furniture; we create spaces where well-being is intertwined with every element. We aspire to continue enriching lives and transforming the way people feel and experience their daily lives.
